B & H Spoof Night

13 February 2012

On the Friday 10th February Casco attended the B & H spoof night in aide of Thames Hospice care. A large number from CASCO attended the evening and after numerous knock out rounds Dan Wadley made the final. The final turned out to be between CASCO and AvTrade. After a close final round Dan was the overall winner of the competition. Thank you again to B & H for a great evening and we look forward to next year.

 

British Airways Inventory

Aircraft Maintenance Conference Russia

MICHAEL DAVIS - CASCO Ltd, the leading independent supplier of commercial aircraft parts and related services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Davis as Non-Executive Overseas Director. Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Casco Board and will help the company which is based in the UK, further expand into new developing markets.

Currently CEO of Midair S.A Geneva, Mike also has a controlling interest in Midair USA Inc. & Midair Aviation (Ireland) Ltd. He currently holds Non-Executive Director status with Transaero Airlines Ltd, Transalpine Leasing (Ireland) Ltd, and Aircraft Financial Leasing (Bermuda) Ltd. He also acts as Commercial Aviation Advisor to two major Russian banks, namely VTB Bank (Vneshtorgbank) and VEB Bank (Vnesheconombank).

He set up cargo charter airline, Pelican Air Transport, in Manchester as CEO in 1977. The joint venture capital company was funded by UK FT100 company, British Electric Traction (BET).

Mike’s Midair Group in London was founded in 1984. It was effectively the London arm of International Air Leases of Miami, with subsidiaries in Bournemouth (Midair Aviation Ltd, UK CAA /JAR 145 Aircraft Repair Station) and Midair Services Limited. Midair continued with extensive transactions with Boeing Military Aircraft of Wichita Kansas, supplying engines and airframes for the USAF KC-135E tanker program throughout the 1980s in partnership with Omega Aviation of Dublin.

Mike continued trading as Midair S.A with Finova Capital (Scottsdale, Arizona) as its partner on various transactions involving Boeing equipment. The customer base for leases and trades included Transaero Airlines of Moscow, Air France, Aeropostale (French Post Office) Transmile Malaysia, Virgin Atlantic, Cathay Pacific, JAL, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines Bank of America, QANTAS, Continental Airlines and many others.

He is also the companies major shareholder. Midair S.A. owns the controlling shares of Midair USA Inc. and Midair Aviation Ltd Ireland.
